Variables Editor and Mobile App

Variables Editor

The first of many next-generation config editors has arrived!

• Low-Code: Instead of having to navigate a YAML document that can get pretty big, you can now edit your variables with a handy user interface.
• Features: Add or delete variables, and find what you are looking for by using the integrated search functionality. After selecting a variable, you can see all its information in the detail view. Change its name, value, description, and metadata while the UI adapts to your choices.

Inscription View

The new Inscription View is finally feature complete! You are able to configure all elements on the totally redesigned interface.

• UI update: Prepare to be amazed by the refreshed user interface! Thanks to the sleek new design, navigating through inscriptions has never been smoother, making oversight effortless. The UI update not only attends to the needs of advanced users but also makes the functionality more appealing for new users. Among other things, the redesign features collapsible sections for every subpart, improved tab naming, and overall interface streamlining.
• Browsers: We added assisting browsers to search for CMS entries, DataClass attributes, Java-Types and the like. These browsers make element configurations an easy and swift user experience without the need to write any code.
• Code Completion: A notable improvement in this version is the completion list within script/code fields. You now get more functions, types, and attributes auto-inserted whenever you ask for it.

Engine Cockpit

The Cockpit includes new features to ease your secure operations.

• Binaries: The Config File Editor also lists binary key- and trust-store files now. Using the new up-/download functionality, you can edit them locally with a tool of your preference and put the modified version back in charge later on.
• TLS Tester: Secure TLS connections from the engine to remote services can now be tested directly in the cockpit. We list supported ciphers and used certificates. You get that feature not only on REST and SOAP WebServices but for LDAPS connections too.
• Focused: To simplify configurations onto HTTP connectors, we integrated the documentation for configurable properties into the System Configuration editor. We list defaults, descriptive docs, and valid examples to keep you focused in the cockpit, having all information in sight.

Business Notification API

The notification feature introduced with 11.2, received further extensions.

• Keep the users of a process up to date by sending business notifications with the new API.
• Notification messages have been streamlined, improved, and look better than ever.
• All the information needed to fulfill your daily work is only a click away with the new task or case detail link in notification messages.
• Customize the task notification message to the needs of your process by using your self-crafted templates.

Axon Ivy Portal

Axon Ivy Portal 11.3 – your key to boosted productivity and seamless workflow! With an enhanced complex filter, lightning-fast search, customizable statistic charts, and real-time notifications, managing tasks and cases is effortless. Plus, now that the portal is now open source!

• Improved Complex Filters: With the reinvented complex filter you can refine your task and caselist searches with ease. The new filter can combine an endless number of filter conditions. Various new filters for custom fields have been added, and even moving timeframes are now possible. So, say goodbye to endless scrolling and hello to targeted results within the task and case widget of the portal dashboard.

• New Statistic Charts: In this release, we've overhauled and enhanced the statistics capabilities of the portal. We've introduced numerous new standard charts, and now, custom charts can also be tailored for your business users and seamlessly integrated into standard and private dashboards. • Portal goes Open Source: We're thrilled to announce that the Axon Ivy Portal is now #OpenSource! 🚀 This means that developers everywhere can dive into our powerful portal technology, explore its capabilities, and contribute to its evolution.

• And much more...: You can now add custom case fields to your task list to display case-related information directly next to your tasks. Additionally, we've introduced the capability to define action buttons in the case list, allowing you to trigger case-related processes effortlessly. Form Editor (Alpha) 🧪

We are enabling you to build user interfaces like never before.

• Low-Code: Committed to letting everyone partake in building UIs, the new Form Editor lets you define contents without writing any code. Drag and Drop skills are all you need to start your creative journey.
• Agnostic: Building the UI in technology-neutral mannor, we automatically generate the views for JSF as before. However, you're no longer the maintainer of them and can refrain from efforts to make them functional and keep them stable.
• Alpha: Looking for feedback, we already integrated an early Alpha version of our new Form Editor. Nevertheless, we plan to support much more widgets, and integrations of complex components until the LTS 12 release.

Visual Studio Code Designer Extension (Alpha) 🧪

We're doing the first valiant explorative steps towards a web-based IDE.

• Visual Studio Code: We publish the first simple citizen developer toolset for Visual Studio Code as an extension. Though we haven't decided yet about the final runtime environment, Visual Studio Code seems like a very promising base to serve the Designer of the future.
• Editors: Important editors, for Variables, Forms, and Processes were developed to run natively in the Browser. Therefore, we already integrated these editors into our Designer extensions. This enables valiant early bird adopters to use the same feature set as within the classic Eclipse Designer.
• Views: With our custom Projects-View and the integrated Browsers, we already provide a welcoming environment to build first projects and simulate runs of processes.
• Workspaces: Exploring dev-containers, we already gained trust, that this is an easy and powerful stack to share complex workspace setups. Focusing developers to work instantly, without the need to run manual setups.
• Cloud-ready: With Github Codespaces, the Designer runs natively in the cloud. This gives us many options, to build processes anywhere in no time.
